A popular columnist on www.greatandhra.com Prasad is a writer, translator, editor, RJ and a TV anchor. He writes short stories, features and essays both in English and Telugu and 24 of his books are in market. An associate of Sri K.Varaprasad Reddy of Shantha Biotechnics, he resigned his bank job to join as managing editor of "Haasam" a Telugu fortnightly for Humor and Music. Their "Haasam" publications published 27 books so far, latest being "Kothi Kommachi", layout and design of which goes to Prasad's credit.

Apart from his foray into the Telugu film industry, JV has also formed a deep bonding in the field of Telugu literature. He has attended and been a convener at numerous International Telugu cultural conferences and been a speaker and many overseas Telugu seminars and festivals.

JV's repertoire continues into the world of cultural services towards Telugu language. He is on board for a number of advisory committees predominantly involved in language, children and religion.

JV is also author of spiritual poems, social parodies, and contemporary life. He is an avid student of the great masters of Telugu literature. He loves movies, literature and humor - and is now delighted to present his interpretation of Mullapudi's Kothi Kommachi.
