Wife, homemaker, friend, and "fair-copy" writer, she was Mullapudi's most ardent fan and sternest critic. She was among the few who could understand Mullapudi's writing, and painstakingly wrote out his scripts after he scribbled feverishly through his memorable scripts. Both Bapu and Mullapudi often utilized her research capabilities: 'where does this slokam occur' or 'who was related to whom in Indian mythology'… She could point to the page for the smallest reference, in the Mullapudi library of Telugu literature books.
In an effort to include family in the making of the last audio volume, Smt. Mullapudi participated by reading part of the audio version. Something that would make Mullapudi proud of her, wherever he is watching from.
